    Clarence Herman William Loesing, 91, of Boonville, passed away at Cooper County Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 17, 2014.
    Visitation for Clarence will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19 . Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on November 20 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor John Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
    Clarence Loesing was born in Cooper County, March 5, 1923 the son of Bruno Loesing and Stella Turner Loesing. Clarence proudly served his country during WW II with the U.S. Navy. He served in the Pacific theatre on the aircraft carrier USS Cowpens. He was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW post. He married Margie Allen April 9, 1950 in California, MO and they are the parents of five children. Clarence was a family man and a respected farmer in the Boonville area his entire life. He served on numerous agricultural related boards. He was an active and devout member of the Lutheran church. His free time, while limited, was spent enjoying his family and friends.
    Mr. Loesing was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, J.B, Estil and Edward Loesing. He is survived by his wife, Margie, of the home; his children, Tom (Gina) Loesing of Boonville, James (Cathie) Loesing of Columbia, Pam Loesing, Patty Loesing and Martha (Pete) Friesen, all of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and neighbors.

    Clarence married Allen, Margie Ella on 9 Apr 1950 in California, Moniteau, Missouri, USA. Margie was born on 16 Jan 1925 in McGirk, Moniteau, Missouri, USA; died on 1 Nov 2021 in University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, Boone, Missouri, USA; was buried on 5 Nov 2021 in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Boonville, Cooper, Missouri, USA.     Boonville - Margie Ella (Allen) Loesing, 96, of Boonville, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO on Monday, November 1, 2021.
    Visitation for Margie will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville. Private family burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family is planning to have a Celebration of Life in the summer of 2022.
    Margie Allen was born in Moniteau County, near McGirk, MO on January 16, 1925, the only child of Ray Allen and Edith (Siebert) Allen. Margie was born on a farm and moved to California, MO at 3 months of age. Margie attended public schools in California, MO and graduated in 1942. She attended and graduated from Missouri State Teachers College in Warrensburg, MO. Upon graduating, she became a Kindergarten teacher in Liberty, MO, and taught there until she married. She married Clarence Loesing, son of Bruno and Stella (Turner) Loesing on April 9, 1950 at the Baptist Church in California, MO. Margie and Clarence became the parents of five children and raised them on their farm in Boonville, MO where she was a devoted wife and mother. She was an active and devout member of the Lutheran Church where she served on multiple committees. She spent her time working on the farm, cooking, gardening, and taking care of the family. She especially enjoyed baking and spending her free time with family and friends.
    Margie Loesing was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Edith Allen, husband Clarence Loesing, and great grandson Wyatt Loesing. She is survived by her children, Tom (Gina) Loesing of Boonville, James (Cathie) Loesing of Columbia, Pam Loesing, Patty Loesing and Martha (Pete) Friesen, all of St. Louis, MO. She also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and neighbors.
    Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Boonville, or Down Syndrome Innovations of Kansas City (formerly known as the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater KC).
