Jacob Dietrich. In the same tradition [ = “according to the Visitation of 1577” ] he came here in the Year of the Christ ’75 ; but because a disagreement arose between him and the noble, he was transferred to Bodnitz.

4. Jacob Dietrich. In the year 1537 he was ordained in Jena as Deacon for Römhild, and then was appointed as Deacon in Jena for almost five years, then the Pastor of Ezdorff in Meißen for 4-1/2 years. He was afterwards recalled to Jena, and continued for two years there. Furthermore, in Altendorf he signed in the year ’75 the Formula of Concord, and finally came to Bodnitz. However, when that did not abate for a long time, he was called in the year 1582 to the Parish of Unter-Oppurgi, where the septuagenarian died in 1586.
