    Franz Gramlich also served in the Mexican American war in 1846+ I have his military records. And he served in the Civil war also in 1860's+ and I have a file on that. He earned a land grant from his first service in Mexico and collected it by settling in Clear Creek Missouri about 30 miles from Boonville, MO. He lived in Clear Creek all the rest of his life after Civil War. He and Caroline had 3 children: Johannah, Henry, and John Christian Gramlich.
