    CLARENCE FREDERICK LAMMERS LAKE SAINT LOUIS - Clarence Frederick Lammers passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the age of 93. He is survived by his son, Joseph (Brenda) Lammers of St. Charles, Missouri; daughter, Julee (David) Loesche; sisters, Thelma (Delphinus, deceased) Kraus, Jeanette (Henry, deceased) Stegner and brother David (Nancy) Lammers; grandchildren, Jacob Loesche (Hannah Seaman) of Plymouth, Massachusetts; Erica (Reagan) Wallace of Los Angeles, California; sisters-in-law, Joan Lammers and Barbara Lammers and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Lammers, to whom he was married for 65 years; parents Richard and Florence Lammers; brothers, Kenneth Lammers; Richard Lammers; sister, Alice (Phillip) Templemire. Clarence was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served proudly from 1953 - 1955. He began his career at the C.J. Harris Lumber Company in Pilot Groove, Missouri, eventually moving to the St. Louis area. He worked for 42 years in the building materials business. He was a member of the ILL - MO Tractor and Engine Club for over 40 years and enjoyed traveling all over the country displaying and trading his gasoline engines. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a great story teller. Clarence dearly loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

    Clarence married Schlotzhauer, Carol Rae on 11 Mar 1953. Carol (daughter of Schlotzhauer, Leonard Leslie and Cline, Julia) was born on 26 Oct 1930 in Overton, Cooper, Missouri, USA; died on 19 Jan 2018 in Lake Saint Louis, St Charles, Missouri, USA; was buried after 19 Jan 2018 in Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Pilot Grove Township, Cooper, Missouri, USA.
