    Myrtle Maye Duvall, Maryville, MO, formerly of Excelsior Springs, MO, died March 2, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville. She was born November 28, 1918 to William C. and Maude (Smith) Hunnicutt in Gravelly, AR. Myrtle graduated from the Gravelly Schools. In 1945 she married Lonnie Thoma Duvall in Kansas City, MO. She and her husband owned and operated Duvall s Appliance Store in Excelsior Springs for many years. Mr. Duvall died in 1973.
    Mrs. Duvall was a member of the Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church in Excelsior Springs.
    In addition to her husband, Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph Coy, Owen, Cleatus, and Bruce Hunnicutt and an infant brother; and sisters, Naomi Humphreys, Vivian Wathias, Pearl Fowler and Allie Lee Hunnicutt.
    Survivors include two daughters, Helen Neese, Brentwood, TN and Ruth Ann Freddie Wells, Albany, MO; two sons, Lonnie P. Duvall, Austin, TX and David L. Duvall, of Maryville, MO; two brothers, Wayne Hunnicutt, Harvey, AR and Leon Hunnicutt, Danville, AR; one sister, Lois Douthit, Carlisle, AR; eight grandchildren, Gordon Wells, Alexander Wells, Robert Duvall, Pell Duvall, Benjamin Neese, Robert Neese, Kevin Duvall and Timothy Duvall.
    Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Visitation will also be from 9-10 a.m. with Memorial services at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5, at Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church, Excelsior Springs.     Notes:

    Mrs. Maudie Smith Hunnicutt, age 89, of Gravelly, died early Monday, February 12th in the Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. Mrs. Hunnicutt was a native of Bluffton, AR, the daughter of the late Pat and Alice Robertson Smith, housewife and member of the Church of Christ.

    Survivors include: five sons, R. R. Hunnicutt of Lenna, OK, W. 0. Hunnicutt of Gravelly, Leo Hunnicutt of Danville, Wayne Hunnicutt of Olatha, Kansas, and Bruce Hunnicutt of Gravelly; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Fowler of Gravelly, Mrs. Myrtle Duval of Excelser Springs, MO and Mrs. Lois Douthit of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Also 31 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 14th in the Gravelly United Methodist Church with Brother Owen Hunnieutt officiating with interment in the Young Gravelly Cemetery near Gravelly.

    Grandsons will serve as casket bearers.
