  Newspapers: Boonville Daily News: Obituary, Of Jerry Wayne Friedrich: 13 Oct 1997. Barbara Friedrich Boonville - Barbara M. Friedrich, 85, of Boonville passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Visitation for Barbara will be at Howard Funeral Home Friday, December 10, 2021, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Tim Fairley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Johns UCC Cemetery in Billingsville. Barbara M. Friedrich was born in Pilot Grove, Missouri March 9, 1936, the daughter of Emil Lee and Margaret Leona (Harris) Turner. She moved to New Franklin, Missouri in 1943 and graduated from New Franklin High School in 1954. Barbara married Alfred Friedrich January 16, 1957, and had two children, a son and a daughter. Barbara worked at the bakery for over 19 years then went to work at Walmart where she retied from. The most important thing to Barbara was her family: her children, her grandsons and great grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Her fun, loving, caring, and giving personality will be dearly missed. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Emil and Margaret Turner, son Jerry W. Friedrich, and grandson Ryan M. Scott. She is survived by her daughter Marsha (Billy) Van Boening of Boonville, brother Wayne Turner of Boonville, grandsons Brandon Roberts and Tyler (Kylee) Scott, and great grandchildren Allison, Zander, Aleigha, Alayna, and Rylan Roberts, Isaac Scott, Nora Scott and one on the way.
