Notes - Herbert Stretz, 84, passed away at Ashley Manor Care Center in Boonville on March 7, 2017.
Inurnment for Herb will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 at the S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery located on Locust Street in Boonville.
Herb was born in Boonville to Clara Soph Stretz and Wilbers F. Stretz on February 1, 1933. His family was well known for their excellent brickwork. His father, brother, David and Herb all worked in the brick laying profession. Many of the beautiful brick homes are still standing in Boonville today featuring their high quality brickwork. Herb's hobby was building and collecting model trains. This took most of his time in his later years. For most of his life, Herb enjoyed the company of his dog. Herb was a lifelong member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Herb was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother David.
