  • Notes 
    • Stella Lusk married Roy Wharton, a civil engineering teacher at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She joined the Baptist church after their marriage. They had no children. She died at the age of 51, a few months before her father's death. Her husband died in his garden about two years after Stella's death. Both were buried in Columbia, Missouri.
