    • Mathilde was the foster daughter of Rudolph and Marie Wald. She came with them to the United States and commonly went by the name of Tillie Wald. She moved with Rudolph to Hanover, Kansas where she passed away. When Mrs. Gertrude Wald-Robinson died she took care of her child Mrs. Gertrude Emerson of Denver, Colorado. Relatives were Mr. Arthur Robinson of Santa Fe, NM, Mrs. Edith Hiller nee’ Robinson of Manhattan, Kansas, Mrs. Gertrude Emerson nee’ Robinson of Denver, Oliver Wald of Indianapolis, and Edna Wald daughter of Louis.
