  • Notes
    • He immigrated from France to England and then America. Came to Boston in 1635. It seems that he had a land grant in Salem Mass. in 1637. He bought a house and land in 1659. He was a Ship's carpenter. It is believed that his remains were committed in accord with Quaker custom to an unmarked grave in the grounds of the first Friends Meeting of Mount Holly on what was once known as Gaskill's Lane but later changed to Wood Lane, north of the Mount. His extensive farm lands were nearby, just over the township line in Springfield Township. He disposed of all his property by deed or gift before his death.
