  OBITUARY Georgia Lee Bowen 26 SEPTEMBER , 1948 – 23 JULY , 2016 Georgia Bowen, 67 of Columbia, Missouri passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her home in Columbia, MO. Memorial service will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1600 Rollins Rd, Columbia, MO. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia, MO. Georgia was born on September 26, 1948 in Boonville, MO the daughter of Othal and Dorothy (Friedrich) McCoy. She was married on October 14, 2003 to Terry Bowen in Iowa. In August of 2013, she retired from Shelter Insurance after 47 years as a processor. She enjoyed all animals and especially loved dogs. Survivors include: her husband, Terry; mother, Dorothy Martin; two sisters, Sharon Sorensen and Beverly Diel; two step-sons, Patrick Bowen (Caley) and Brant Bowen (Chelsea); four step grandsons, Blake, Isaac, Christian and Colin; niece, Stephanie Coen; three nephews, Daniel Diel, Gary Adams and Steven Adams; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hillis and Mary Bowen; three sister-in-laws, Beth Scheve, Karen Bruemmer and Kathie Wingert and their families; and her little loving dog, Jack. She was preceded in death by her father, step-father, Raymond Martin and niece, Terri Trabert.
