      Millie Lammers, 71, of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, at her home.
      Millie was born on June 19, 1941 in Tipton, Mo., to Joseph Michael and Mabel Helen (Wolf) Schuster.
      She graduated from Tipton High School and received an associate's degree from Missouri Western State University.
      She married Roy W. Lammers, Jr. on October 24, 1959. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2000.
      She was also preceded by her parents; brother, Walter Schuster; half-brother, Wayne Schuster.
      Millie was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Ladies of Charity and Altar Society.
      She also belonged to Red Hats, Compass Club, Welcome Wagon and enjoyed playing bridge and mahjong.
      Survivors include daughter, Karen (Alan) Bruning; son, Gregory (Audrey) Lammers; Kathy (Brian) Gammon; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Schuster; and three step-siblings.
      Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Thursday, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Graveside services: 4 p.m. Thursday, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Pilot Grove, Mo.
      Visitation will begin after 12 noon Wednesday, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Parish Rosary: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
      The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or Hands of Hope Hospice.
