    • August Herman Walje and his brother, Heinrich Charles Fredrick Walje, were engaged to marry the Zinn sister, Friedricke and Christine; when the sisters died of typhoid fever. After their deaths of typhoid, the Walje brothers married two other of the Zinn sisters. August married Katharina and Charles married Maria.
