• Notes

  All the children were born in Missouri but the 1880 Census places them in Jefferson, Ashtabula, Ohio. There is a LUCY A. Simmons d. September 22, 1885 of Consumption age. 39 and a NELSON W. Simmons d. November 2, 1898 of Bright's Disease age 56 served in the Civil War. Both are buried in Oakdale Cemetery, Jefferson, Ashtabula, Ohio Received $240 from his father’s will dated 27 May 1866.
